Nursing Student Resources
The de Souza Institute encourages undergraduate nursing students to consider a career in oncology nursing. Through presentations and communication materials, the Institute is introducing nursing students to this special area of practice.
In January 2010, a booklet was created by de Souza Institute entitled Make a Difference: Oncology Nursing. The booklet features seven inspirational nurses from across Ontario working in different oncology roles. The purpose of the booklet is to expose undergraduate nursing students to the endless rewards and opportunities of an oncology nursing career.
