Be an Oncology Nurse that de Souza Institute Sponsors to the 2012 Summer Institute of Clinical Research

The 2012 Summer Institute of Clinical Health Research is an intensive program covering the principles and applications of conducting Clinical Health Research.  de Souza Institute is sponsoring a limited number of oncology nurses who are currently conducting or interested in carrying out a project, i.e., a clinical trial, a needs assessment or a program evaluation, to take this course.  In addition to covering the tuition fee, up to $400 stipend will be provided to each recipient to cover travel and accommodation cost .  The recipients will be required to complete the five day summer institute program and three additional training sessions with de Souza faculty to complete the development of a research project in oncology.  The three sessions will be offered via one in person session , and two video/teleconference sessions to be scheduled in July and August 2012.  Application deadline May 31, 2012.
