This Oncology Nursing Day, Join POGO’s Webinar on ‘POGO Guideline for the Prevention of Acute Nausea and Vomiting due to Antineoplastic Medication’.

The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) is hosting a one hour webinar on Canadian Oncology Nursing Day, April 2, 2013. Led by L. Lee Dupuis, Clinical Pharmacy Manager of Hematology/Oncology at SickKids, this webinar will run from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The webinar is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection. 

The purpose of this webinar is to provide nurses, who care for children aged 1 month to 18 years who are receiving antineoplastic medication, with an approach to prevent antineoplastic-induced nausea and vomiting (AINV).

Central West CCAC is Hiring for a Permanent Full-Time Practitioner in Community Palliative

The Central West Community Care Access Centre (CCAC) is looking to hire a permanent full-time Practitioner (NP) in Community Palliative.

 

Reporting to the Director of Client Services the Nurse Practitioner in Community Palliative will provide direct care to complex palliative clients (shared care). They will also contribute to the development of the care plan for chronic but stable palliative clients (coordinated care).
