This Oncology Nursing Day, Join POGO’s Webinar on ‘POGO Guideline for the Prevention of Acute Nausea and Vomiting due to Antineoplastic Medication’.
The Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario (POGO) is hosting a one hour webinar on Canadian Oncology Nursing Day, April 2, 2013. Led by L. Lee Dupuis, Clinical Pharmacy Manager of Hematology/Oncology at SickKids, this webinar will run from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m. The webinar is accessible from anywhere with an internet connection.
The purpose of this webinar is to provide nurses, who care for children aged 1 month to 18 years who are receiving antineoplastic medication, with an approach to prevent antineoplastic-induced nausea and vomiting (AINV).

Learn How to develop your Nursing Career with free Mentorship Workshops
The Oncology Nursing e-Mentorship Program is offering two free workshops that will help Ontario nurses develop their careers.
The Mentorship Training Workshop will take place on February 12, 2013 from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Court Yard Ballroom, Vaughan Estates. Led by Michelle Cooper RN, MScN and Mary M. Wheeler RN, Med, PCC, the workshop will help you move towards career goals by becoming involved in a mentorship relationship.
