A provincial needs assessment was conducted in the Spring of 2009 to identify the professional and career development needs of generalist and specialized oncology nurses within Ontario. The findings of this assessment are the foundation of the guiding principles of the expanded program. Details on the implementation of the expanded program will be available soon.
