This one day workshop will present key theoretical elements and approaches to assessing and managing distress which can help nurses practicing at any point along the cancer journey. Multiple modalities of learning will be used in this dynamic one-day workshop including case scenarios to highlight psychosocial care issues along the cancer care continuum.

This course is open to any Ontario nurse who provides care for oncology patients in any setting and phase of the cancer care journey, regardless of practice role. Travel and accommodation expenses will be reimbursed (in accordance with our travel policy) for nurses who live more than 150km from Toronto.
This course is offered at no cost but a deposit of $100 is required to save your space for the course. Cheques will not be deposited unless participants fail to cancel their registration before February 2, 2012 or fail to complete the course. Please see our Cancellation & No Show Policy.
