Become a Host Site
The de Souza Institute welcomes organizations from across the province to host 'Day 3' of de Souza's Standardized Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course.
Organizations hosting the final day of the course will benefit in the following ways:
- Support capacity building for oncology nurses in collaboration with de Souza Institute
- No added travel expenses for nurses from the host organization
- Networking between nurses in your community's oncology and satellite centres
- Opportunity to profile the organization and local nursing experts
We are looking for hosts in all Local Health Integration Networks for our 2010 course dates in:
- February/March
- May/June
- September/October
We ask our hosts for the following:
- Local supplies for demonstration purposes in the skills lab
- Light refreshments for participants
- Two rooms (max. 24 people each) with conference call capabilities, a computer and projector
The de Souza Institute will provide all written materials and arrange for standardized patients for the skills lab.
