CNA Hospice Palliative Care Certification Study Group

To help nurses prepare for Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Oncology Certification, de Souza Institute offers an exam study group.

Each week, participants gather online across Ontario and connect via elearning to study. The sessions use a variety of approaches to help nurses learn and apply their knowledge to competency areas required for certification. These include:

  • Contributions by Hospice Palliative Care experts from across the province in key content areas.
  • Discussion of case studies to help you apply your knowledge and learn from the experience of others.
  • Exploring evidence through discussion of current literature.
  • Weekly group interaction in online discussion forum.

Credits: Participating in this study group does not count as a de Souza Designation course credit. It is however, a requirement to obtain a CNA certification in  to achieve the Designation of de Souza Nurse or de Souza APN.

When: The study group begins on January 9, 2012 and runs until March 2012. Registration for the study group is open and will close on January 9, 2012.
