About: This online study group and one day in person symposium day helps prepare Registered Nurses to write the CPHON certification exam. Created and facilitated by CPHON certified experts, this study group takes participants through a variety of online modules that correspond to exam content. Work at your own pace and convenience as modules are delivered online.
The de Souza Institute provides full exam fee reimbursement to Ontario RNs writing the CPHON exam for the first time (The Institute will also fund up to one rewrite).
Eligibility: Study group is offered at no cost to any nurse in Ontario who cares for children and families living with cancer.
When: The CPHON study group will begin in September 2011 and run for 5 months. Registration will begin in August 2011. Before signing up for the study group, nurses should first apply to write the CPHON exam by completing the CPHON application.
In-person Symposium Day: A full-day symposium helps nurses prepare for the certification exam. The symposium provides additional learning based on the CPHON certification competencies and the learning needs of participants. A deposit of $75 is required to save your space for the symposium.
