Oncology Study Group

To help you prepare for Canadian Nurses Association (CNA) Oncology Certification, the de Souza Institute offers an exam study group.

Each week, participants gather online across Ontario and are connected via elearning to study. The sessions use a variety of learning approaches to help you learn and apply your knowledge to the competency areas required for certification. These include:

  • Presentations by educators and oncology experts in key content areas.
  • Discussion of case studies to help you apply your knowledge and learn from the experience of others.
  • Group-developed multiple choice questions to help test your learning at each session.

Exam Preparation Symposium

A full-day symposium helps you prepare for the certification exam. The symposium provides additional learning based on the CNA certification competencies and the learning needs of participants. The day ends with a mock exam developed by oncology experts using the CNA exam model.

How can I Register to Participate in the Oncology Study Group?

How can I register for the CNA Exam?

The CNA Oncology Certification Exam is written annually in the spring. The registration deadline for the spring 2010 exam is October 16, 2009. To register for the CNA Oncology exam, please visit the CNA website.
