In Canada, the Canadian Association of Nurses in Oncology (CANO/ACIO) supports nurses in Canada to promote and develop excellence in practice, education, research and leadership. CANO is national, member driven organization in which oncology nurses foster the maintenance of high standards of care for people with cancer and their families. CANO/ACIO develops resources to support the work of oncology nurses, including position statements on areas of national relevance, practice standards for oncology nurse and educational resources.
